Default: Over
This setting enables the relay to respond to either high or low values of the operating
signal. The following figure explains the application of the Direction, Pickup and
Hysteresis settings.

In conjunction with the Operating Mode setting, the element could be programmed to
provide two extra characteristics as shown in the figure following.
