DVD/DVR control buttons
When in the DVD/DVR mode, the buttons on the remote control
unit function as below.
1 0 to 9
Function as the numeric buttons.
2 P+/P– (HDD/DVD recorder (DVR) only)
Press to change the channel of the tuner built in the HDD/
DVD recorder (DVR).
3 DVD TOP MENU
When this button is pressed, the DVD top menu will appear.
4 ENTER
Press to activate the selected function.

Press to select items on the DVD MENU screen.
5 MENU
Press to display the DVD menu.
● (REC) (HDD/DVD recorder (DVR) only)

Starts recording.
7 F (PAUSE/STILL)
Sets pauses and still pictures.
T (CHAPTER SEARCH)

Each time you press, you move back to the start of the previous
chapter.
U (CHAPTER SEARCH)

Each time you press, you move ahead to the start of the next
chapter.
10 TOOLS (Pioneer BD player only)
Press to display the TOOLS Menu.
11 SOURCE a
Turns on and off the power of the DVD player or HDD/DVD
recorder (DVR).
12 RETURN
When the DVD menu is in display, press to restore the
immediately previous screen.
13 I (PLAY)
Starts playback.
14 ■ (STOP)
Press to stop playback or recording. With some DVD players
or HDD/DVD recorders (DVRs), pressing the button twice may
open the disc tray.
15 V (SCAN)
Press for fast forward.
16 S (SCAN)
Press to go backward.
17 HDD (HDD/DVD recorder (DVR) only)
Press to select the hard disk (HDD) for playback or recording.
18 DVD (HDD/DVD recorder (DVR) only)
Press to select the DVD for playback or recording.

REC STOP (HDD/DVD recorder (DVR) only)
Press ● and ■ at the same time to stop recording. This
operation is available for only Pioneer and Sony HDD/DVD
recorders (DVRs).
Note
• You can control a BD player in the DVD/DVR mode.
• The DVD player, HDD/DVD recorder (DVR) or BD player cannot
be selected at the same time.
