Understanding the radio display

The messages and symbols you see on your radio display
depend on the mode in which your radio is operating and the
way it is programmed.
The following diagram shows a typical display in conventional
mode and explains some of the display information that may
be available.
left selection key text
This text shows the current
function of the left
selection key.
6 Getting started
scrolling indicator
This appears when
scrolling is allowed
symbols
The symbols along the
top of the display
show which functions
are active.
right selection key text
This text shows the current
function of the right
selection key.
default display
This programmed
display appears when
the radio is iidle. This
may be one or two
lines of text.
