BLUETOOTH PLAYBACK OPERATION

BLUETOOTH INPUT (RECEIVE) PLAYBACK

BLUETOOTH RECEIVE allows you to send music from your portable devices for listening through
AiOS.
Once pairing has successfully been completed, you can easily enjoy music from your portable device
as follows.
(1) Make sure "Cary Audio AIOS" is selected and connected as shown above on your
device.
(2) Open your desired music app and look for this icon
(3) Tap on the icon and wait for available device(s) to appear.
(4) Select "Cary Audio AIOS" with "Bluetooth" icon and start playback of your music
selection.
(5) AiOS will display all track information on the front panel.

Using Cary Audio's proprietary TruBit™ PCM and DSD Upsampling and conversion technology
allows you to get the most out of our Bluetooth input signals during playback for a superior
listening experience. With TruBit™, you can upsample to 1 or 7 different sample rates or 1 of 3
different PCM to DSD conversion rates. See more on this in the in the PCM to DSD
upsampling/conversion section of the manual.
NOTE: During Bluetooth playback, it is recommended to turn the volume on the portable device
itself all the way up (maximum). Subsequent increases and decreases of the volume should be
done by AIOS' volume control (this is opposite of how AirPlay volume operates).
