Troubleshooting
Problem

If the fill system fails and the condition cannot be corrected, to continue
operating the melter (and filling it manually), disable the fill system (ensure
that the fill system power key LED is not illuminated).
Possible Cause
Solenoid stuck open
Sensor ground wire not connected
Refill board not working
Sensor not calibrated properly
No adhesive in storage bin
No power
Adhesive bridging
Clogged wand/hose/lid
Clogged filter sock
Lid not closed
No/low air pressure
No power to the level sensor
Deflector bent
No power to refill board
Solenoid failure
Bad refill board
Overfill timer too short
Sensor not calibrated properly
Timers not properly set
Corrective Action
Clean or replace.
Connect.
Replace if defective.
Calibrate the sensor. Refer to Level
Sensor Adjustment and Calibration.
Add adhesive to storage bin.
Ensure that power is available.
Dislodge adhesive. Add optional
vibrator kit if problem persists.
Inspect the parts for improper
connections, clogs or kinks. Replace
as needed.
Replace if needed.
Ensure that the lid is closed and that
the lid switch is operational.
Verify that sufficient air pressure and
flowrate is supplied to the Fulfill unit
from your factory. Static pressure
should be 65 psi min.; operating
pressure should be 45 psi min.
Replace the regulator if defective.
Verify that power is being supplied to
the level sensor (LED not lit = no
power) and that the power cord is
installed properly.
Repair or replace.
Verify power to the control box and at
the refill board. Replace if needed.
Verify the connections to the
solenoid. Replace if defective.
Replace the refill board.
Adjust the timer.
Calibrate the sensor. Refer to Level
Sensor Adjustment and Calibration.
Adjust the timer settings. Refer to Set
Up the Fill System under Installation.
