Change the [AUX IN/LOOP RETURN TRIM VOLUME]
to the minimum level with the other setups remained as
above.
Measure output terminals.

Test 22
Function: SIOF check
Description:
The two separate SIOF signal lines (LINE-A, LINE-B)
are driven individually to check by sound generation if the
connection is correct. At the same time the test of the of the
AUDIO clock control port connection is executed.
After starting the test, if "LINE-A" is OK, a sine wave of
approx. 441 Hz (A3) is generated in one-second intervals
as follows: "Sound (clock ON) Ô Muted (clock OFF)".
(PAN=L)
When switching to "LINE-B" by pressing the TAB [ M ] button,
a sine wave of approx. 1,049 Hz (C5) is generated in one-
second intervals as follows: "Muted (clock OFF) Ô Sound
(clock ON)". (PAN=R)
The "LINE-A" and "LINE-B" can be switchled by pressing
the TAB [ < ] or the TAB [ M ] button.

generated.
Sound is stopped when the test item is quit.
Test 23
Function: Switch, LED Check
Description:
When a panel switch is being pressed, a sound is kept
produced at a pitch corresponding to the switch (page 99).
When the switch is released, the sound is stopped.
If there is an LED for the switch, the LED will light up.
The LED will be turned off when the next switch is pressed
correctly.
In case of two-colored LED, both the two colors will light.
Operate the [DATA ENTRY] dial following the indications
on the LCD to check Dial Up and Dial Down. (The number
should increase when turned clockwise and decrease when
turned counterclockwise.)
