To maintain high copy quality, clean the following parts and units regularly.
Clean the exposure glass with a
damp cloth and wipe it with a dry
cloth.
Clean the platen cover with a
damp cloth and wipe it with a dry
cloth.
Do the following when white
streaks appear on the copy or
when image density becomes un-
even.
Open the front cover.
Pull the corona wire out fully ex-
tended, then push it back in until
it locks. Repeat the above proce-
dure several times.
Push the corona unit back in.
Make sure it locks into place.
Close the front cover.
