5.13 Checking the oil level in the
tamper foot

Stand the tamper of level ground for a short while,
so that all oil can run into the housing.

Clean the sight glass (Fig. 42).

Check the oil level.

The oil must be visible in the inspection glass,

if necessary fill in oil accordingly.
For quality and quantity of oil refer to the "table
of fuels and lubricants".
