Download the version upgrade program from the Yamaha official website.

How to Install

Never turn the instrument off while installing.
It may break the boot Flash ROM device.To repair it, you have to exchange the Flash ROM on board.
Never take the smartmedia from the instrument while installing.

Insert Smartmedia to the instrument.
Please take care about the side of the media. Gold side is downward.

Boot the instrument with install mode.
Turn on the instrument with pressing [START/STOP] button.

Press the [START/STOP] button and start the installations.

Then, the installation starts automatically.

It shows the following on LCD during installations.
