Checks R channel output.
Connect the level meter (with a JIS-C filter) to each jack (PHONES L, R, OUTPUT L/L+R, R,
AUX OUT (LEVEL FIXED) L, R)
With [MASTER VOLUME] at the maximum, check the R channel output level. (1KHz sine wave,
PAN=R) (PHONES L, R: 33 ohms load OUTPUT L/L+R, R: 10k ohms load AUX OUT (LEVEL
FIXED) L, R: 10k ohms load)
• PHONES L: -45.0dBu or less
• OUTPUT L/L+R: -75.0dBu or less
• AUX OUT (LEVEL FIXED) L: -80.0dBu or less
Checks L channel output.
Connect the level meter (with a JIS-C filter) to each jack (PHONES L, R, OUTPUT L/L+R, R,
AUX OUT (LEVEL FIXED) L, R)
With [MASTER VOLUME] at the maximum, check the L channel output level. (1KHz sine wave,
PAN=L) (PHONES L, R: 33 ohms load OUTPUT L/L+R, R: 10k ohms load AUX OUT (LEVEL
FIXED) L, R: 10k ohms load)
• PHONES L: -4.0±2dBu
• OUTPUT L/L+R: +3.5±2dBu
• AUX OUT (LEVEL FIXED) L: -1.0±2dBu AUX OUT (LEVEL FIXED) R: -80.0dBu or less
Checks EQ-LOW frequency.
Confirm that sound is output with a sine save of about 65.4 Hz (C1) at a specified level, PAN=center.
Sound production stops when returning to selection screen with the [START/STOP] button.
Checks EQ-MID frequency.
Confirm that sound is output with a sine wave of about 523 Hz (C4) at a specified level, PAN=center.
Sound production stops when returning to selection screen with the [START/STOP] button.
Checks EQ-HIGH frequency.
Confirm that sound is output with a sine wave of about 4186 Hz (C7) at a specified level, PAN=center.
Sound production stops when returning to selection screen with the [START/STOP] button.
Checks MUTE. Set the [MASTER VOLUME] at the maximum.
Connect the level meter (with a JIS-C filter) to L and R of [PHONES] jacks. (33 ohms load)
Sound absorption using [TAB
Sound production using [TAB
[MUTE ON] (PHONES L, R: -80.0dBu or less)
Checks a microphone.
MIC Check: Connect a microphone to [MIC] jack and speak to it Check the voice sound by
hearing that there is not unusual noise or abnormal sound.
MIC Level: Connect the level meter (with a JIS-C filter) to L and R of [PHONES] jacks.
(33 ohms load)
Set the [MASTER VOLUME] at the maximum.
Measure the output of each terminal after inputting a sine wave of 1 kHz at -40dBu to [MIC] jack.
Set [MIC/LINE] select switch to [MIC] and set [MIC VOLUME] at the maximum.
PHONES L,R: -7.5±2dBu
Checks SW, LED.
Press the switches on the LCD as instructed. A preassigned note is output when the switch is
pressed. (See P64, 65) When the switch with LED is pressed, that LED will light up. (If you wish
to cancel the check in progress, press [DEMO SW] or the lowest key on the keyboard to return to
the selection screen.)
When all the switches are pressed, "Dial Down" is displayed on LCD.
Also check the rotary encoder. Turn the rotary encoder clockwise. The numbers are displayed
from 50 to 100 on LCD. Then turn the rotary encoder counterclockwise. The numbers are displayed
from 100 to 0 on LCD.
Confirm that "SW, LED Check OK" is displayed on LCD.
PHONES R: -4.0±2dBu
OUTPUT R: +3.5±2dBu
AUX OUT (LEVEL FIXED) R: -1.0±2dBu
PHONES R: -45.0dBu or less
