1.5 Updating the projector software
Necessary tools
• Latest version of the projector flash software (update package).
• Latest version of the Projector Toolset.
How to update the projector software?
1. Download the latest projector flash software (update package) from the secured Barco web site https://My.Barco.com and copy
the zipped file in the update package folder of the Projector Toolset: C:\Program Files\Barco\ProjectorToolset.
Note: Take into account that the folder "C:\Program Files\Barco\ProjectorToolset" is the default update package folder when
installing the Projector Toolset.
2. Start up the Projector Toolset and activate the "Software update" module by clicking on the software update icon (reference 1
image 1-7) in the tool bar of the Projector Toolset. As a result the tab pages "Update settings" and "Version information" become
available.
3. Click on the "Update new ..." button (reference 2 image 1-7. As a result the Projector Toolset start scanning the update package
folder for update packages of the selected configuration (e.g. Barco FLM). If no packages where found a pop up message "No
packages found. Please check the update package folder." is displayed. If packages where found a window opens with a list of
found packages.

4. Does the Projector Toolset display a pop up message "No packages found. Please check the update package folder."?
If yes, click on the "Ok" button (reference 3 image 1-7) of the message. A new browse window opens wherein you can select
(reference 4 image 1-8) the folder which contains the update package. As a result a window opens with a list of found packages.
If no, proceed with the next step.
5. Select the update package (reference 5 image 1-8) from the list and click on the "Next" button (reference 6 image 1-8). As a
result a new window opens with a list of files to install.
