Configuring IPv6 Tunnel
Maintenance and Diagnosis
To maintain and diagnose IPv6 tunnel, use the following com-
mands.
Result: The maintenance and diagnosis of IPv6 tunnel has been
configured.
IPv6 Tunnel Configuration
Example
This example describes how to configure IPv6 tunnel.
As shown in Figure
routers, and PC1 and PC2 are IPv6 hosts. Configure IPv6 address
is 4000::1, and gateway is 4000:128 in PC1. Configure IPv6 ad-
dress is 5000::1, and gateway is 5000:128 in PC2.
The configuration of R1 and R2 is shown below. RIPng protocol is
not necessary. Static route or other routing protocols also can be
used.
