Configuring OSPFv3 Protocol
Attributes
To configure protocol attributes, perform the following steps.
ipv6 router ospf <process-id>
area <area-id> default-cost
area <area-id> range
area <area-id> stub
#area <area-id> virtual-link
Function
The default value for point
to point and broadcast
interfaces is 40 seconds.
The default value for
non—broadcast and
point-to-multipoint interfaces
is 120 seconds.
This sets the interface cost
value.
The unit is second. The range
is from 1 to 65535.
The default value of loopback
interface is 1, and other
interfaces is 10.
This sets the interface
priority.
The range is from 0 to 255.
The default value is 1.
Function
This enables an OSPFv3
instance and enters OSPFv3
configuration mode.
This configures the default
metric value for an area.
This configures the range of
summary address in an area.
This defines an area as the
stub area.
no-summary implies ABR is
forbidden to send summary
route to this stub area.
This defines an OSPF virtual
link.
