Possible causes
Interface already allocated.
Another connection has already
been set up with this interface.
Instrument is not switched on.
Instrument is not connected properly to PC.
Batteries spent.
Incorrect cable in use.
Batteries are spent
Instrument defect
7. Troubleshooting
Solution
Select other interface.
Delete current connection
and set up anew.
Switch on instrument.
Check connection.
Change batteries.
Use cable no. 0409.0178
Replace batteries or
use mains unit.
Carry out default reset.
