6. Serial communication command
This camera is normally equipped with the asynchronous serial communication interface (UART: Universal Asynchronous Receiver
/ Transmitter) and the connecting terminal for serial communication (SerTFG, SerTC).
If the capture board is equipped with the connecting terminal for serial communication (SerTFG, SerTC) and the driving software,
the internal parameter can be externally controlled from the remote computer etc. by the serial communication command via
Camera Link and the dedicated capture board as with the conventional product (FC1500CL, etc.) equipped with RS-232C
interface .
The external control method by the serial communication is described below.
(6-1) The settings of the serial communication
*serial communication settings of the host device are as follows.
Baud rate : 9600bps/38400bps
Data : 8bit/character
Stop bit : 1stop bit
Parity : none
XON/XOFF : no control
(!)......The baud rate can be changed to 38400bps by the communication command "H' 14".
