RMS Compressors (LCOMP/ RCOMP) Block Scheme
The CLP2600 processing core is based on 3 powerful RMS compressors on each channel, that can
be applied to 3 sub bands definable by the user.
The CLP2600 is by the way very flexible allowing to eventually set the compression process as a 2
bands or even Mono band one.
On its input path, then, after the AGC and Eq, and before the final Peak Limiter, the CLP2600
make available to the user a powerful "up to 3 band

2 of them (if set the 2 bands Mode) or even just one (when in Mono band mode).
In addition, a control for setting the Compressor Mode (2/3 or Mono band) so as, when set in
multi band, a control for setting the Cross bands frequencies.
In the following block scheme, showing the CLP2600 overall structure, the RMS Compressor
section is represented by the purple not shaded block.
