9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem/Symptom
Shower varies from
normal temperature
to cold during use.
Pressure relief device
has operated (water
ejected from PRD
tube).
Shower fails to
shut off.
NOTE:
Identify the cause of operation before tting a new PRD unit. When tting a new PRD,
follow the commissioning procedure.
It is advised all electrical maintenance/repairs to the shower should be carried out by
a suitably quali ed person.
In the unlikely event of unit failure other than detailed in the fault nding page, please
contact Customer Service for advice.
Cause
Water pressure has
dropped below minimum
required.
Blocked showerhead.
Twisted/blocked exible
shower hose.
Showerhead not removed
while commissioning.
Faulty start/stop switch.
Debris in the solenoid.
Action/Cure
Wait until the water pressure resumes to
normal.
Clean or replace blocked sprayplate in
showerhead and then t new PRD.
Check for free passage through hose.
Replace the hose if necessary and
t new PRD.
Fit new PRD. Commission unit with
showerhead removed.
Replace start/stop switch.
Replace solenoid valve.
