Troubleshooting QoS and ACL

This section provides troubleshooting information for common QoS and ACL problems.

ACL application failure for unsupported ACL rules

Symptom

The system fails to apply a packet filter or an ACL-based QoS policy to the hardware. It displays an error
message that an unsupported rule exists in the ACL. The following is a sample error message:
Error: Slot=2 Fail to apply or refresh packet filter policy 3180 rule 5 on interface
Vlan-interface20. Not supported.
