Remove and reinstall the power supply to make sure the power supply is installed securely.
Then execute the display power command to verify that the power supply has changed to
Normal state.
b.
Remove and install the power supply into an empty power supply slot. Then execute the display
power command to verify that the power supply has changed to Normal state in the new slot.
If the power supply remains in Absent state, go to step 4.
3.
Verify that the power supply is operating correctly.
a.
Verify that the power supply is connected to the power source correctly. If it is not, connect it
to the power source correctly. Then execute the display power command to verify that the
power supply has changed to Normal state.
b.
Remove and install the power supply into an empty power supply slot. Then execute the display
power command to verify that the power supply has changed to Normal state in the new slot.
If the power supply remains in Fault state, go to step 4.
4.
If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
