6.4 CLEAR STATS

Resets to zero all statistical values selected in
STATS MENU/DISPLAY.

6.5 SELECT STATS

Allows the user to chose which statistical values are
displayed. The default condition is all values (Figure
42).

Use Up/Down softkeys to move cursor and SEL
softkey to select or deselect the statistical values.

7 BATCHING

The Elcometer 456
operates in one of two modes;

immediate or batch.

: The gauge takes readings and
MMEDIATE MODE
calculates statistics but does not store any readings
in memory (Figure 43).

: The gauge takes readings and
ATCH MODE
calculates statistics and stores readings in memory
(Figure 44). The gauge stores readings in one of up
to 999 separate batches.
Batch mode (batching) allows reading data to be
collected in groups to allow easier analysis of large
structures or complex assemblies.
