4.8. Offsets

The centre line for any offset measurements is considered to be the middle of the
receive transducer face as shown.

Receive (RX)
The view shows the sonar head as it would look from underneath the survey vessel
with the front of the vessel at the top of the page, i.e., the sonar transmitter to the fore
with the port side correctly aligned on the left.
