Troubleshooting guide

The following troubleshooting guide describes a number of faults and events
which may occur when you use your wheelchair, together with suggested reme-
dies. Note that this guide cannot describe all the problems and events which
may occur and you should always contact your service contact or Permobil in
case of doubt.
EVENT
The wheelchair cannot
be started.
The wheelchair cannot
be driven.
The battery voltage indicator
on the control panel is flashing position is activated.
at 2.5 second intervals and
the wheelchair cannot be
driven.
The battery voltage indicator
on the control panel is flashing
fast and the wheelchair
cannot be driven.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Batteries discharged.
Main fuse switched to OFF
position after, for example,
battery replacement.
Main fuse triggered.
Battery charger connected.
Brake release activated.
Wheelchair locked with the
key switch.
Seat rotation activated.
The electronics' power saving Switch off and switch on the
Electronics fault.

REMEDY
Charge the batteries.
Reset the main fuse.

Stop charging and disconnect
the charging cable from the
wheelchair's charging socket.
Reset the brake release.
Unlock the wheelchair.

Switch the seat rotation to the
drive position, i.e. straight
forwards. See page 47.
