Out of specification-->Adjust.

Throttle cable free play a d j u s t m e n t steps;
NOTE:
Before adjusting the throttle cable free play, the
engine idle speed should be adjusted.
• Remove the adjuster cover (~
• Loosen the Iocknut @~) on the throttle cable.
• Turn the adjuster (~ in or out until the speci-
fied free play is obtained.
I T u r n i n g in--~Free play is increased. I
T u r n i n g out->Free play is decreased.
• Tighten the Iocknuts.
• Install the adjuster cover
After adjusting the throttle cable free play, start
the engine and turn the h a n d l e b a r to the right
and to the left to ensure that this does not cause
the engine idling speed to change.
