2 Protocol, Baud Rate, Address Setup

Before you operate, you need to set address, baud rate and parity. Otherwise you can not control
the product!

2.1 Protocol and Baud Rate Setup

Please configure the following settings before begin controlling dome:
Baud rate
Parity
Address
Note: Please reboot the speed dome to get all the setups activated!
Open the dial switch cover on the bracket, the interface is shown as below. See Figure 2-1. You can see
there are two dial switches on the PCB board.
The two dial switches can specify the speed dome parameter such as address, protocol, baud rate and
etc. For the baud rate dial switch buttons: 1-3 is NC, 4 is the 120Ω resistance, ON is to connect to the
120Ω resistance. When the button is ON, it is 1. In dial switch buttons, 1 is the lowest bit and the 8 is the
highest bit.

Please note this series speed dome can automatically recognize the industrial standard protocol,
PELCO-D. PELCO-P. usually you do not need to set the protocol.
Please refer to the baud rate sheet for detailed information.
