Description
Connect and charge USB devices even when the computer is off or
undocked.
If an optional USB hard drive is connected to this USB port, the hard
drive will not turn off. This USB port does not turn off when the
computer is off or undocked.
HP recommends connecting a hard drive to a USB port that powers off
when the computer powers off.

Supports 12.7-mm drives such as hard drives and optical drives.
Connects an eSATA device to the docking station
