Intake air pressure sensor or atmospheric pressure sensor: when
the main switch is set to "ON", the atmospheric pressure sensor
voltage and intake air pressure sensor voltage differ greatly.
Able to start engine
Able to drive vehicle
d:02, d:03
Displays the atmospheric pressure.
Compare the actually measured atmospheric pressure with the
meter display value.
Displays the intake air pressure.
Set the engine stop switch to "
while pushing the start switch " ". (If the display value changes,
the performance is OK.)
Check or maintenance job
Check in the diagnostic mode
(Code No. d03).
When engine is stopped:
Atmospheric pressure at the
current altitude and weather
conditions is indicated.
0 m above sea level: Approx.
101 kPa
3000 m above sea level:
Approx. 70 kPa
Incorrect indication → Sensor
malfunction → Replace the
intake air pressure sensor.
Sensor inspection procedure
Refer to "CHECKING THE
INTAKE AIR PRESSURE
SENSOR" on page 8-201.
