10.5 C hecking H D D Status
Purpose:
You may check the status of the installed HDDs on device so as to take immediate check and maintenance in case
of HDD failure.
C hecking H D D Status in H D D Infor mation Interface
Steps:
1.
Enter the HDD Information interface.
Menu > HDD>General
2.
Check the status of each HDD which is displayed on the list.
Note: If the status of HDD is Nor m al or S leeping , it works normally. If the status is Uninitialized or Abnor m al ,
please initialize the HDD before use. And if the HDD initialization is failed, please replace it with a new one.

Steps:
1.
Enter the System Information interface.
Menu > Maintenance > System Info
2. Click the H D D tab to view the status of HDD displayed on the list.
