4 Operation, maintenance and cleaning

4.4 Start-up

Preparation
Check the sell-by date of the beans
Make sure that you have enough beans
Preheat the cups
Start-up
Switch on the Coffee machine and refrigerator
Remove the grounds drawer and press the red button on the left and above the
tablet holder. Switch on refrigerator (main switch on bottom side of refrigerator).
For security matters the refrigerator needs 5 minutes start-up time until the
compressor begins to work.
Cold start rinse
The machine demands to rinse the unit. Press the rinse button on the display
(takes about 50 sec.).
Coffee boiler heats up
Fill the bean hopper with fresh coffee beans
Coffee products can now be dispensed
Fill the milk container with milk
Caution:
When pouring milk into the container, pay attention to hygiene to ensure
that no contaminated milk enters the system. The milk container must be clean and dry!
Do not use unpasteurised milk! Only use heat treated (e.g. pasteurised or ultra heat treated) milk. Only use milk
with a sell-by date that has not yet expired. Only pour milk that has already been cooled down (below 5°C)
into the milk container. Once the milk has been opened, use it up within 24 hours to prevent health hazards.
Fill chocolate powder for vending machines into the chocolate hopper
All products can now be dispensed
