Setting IP parameters using bootp

The Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 4500 Series switches are configured
to obtain a management IP address using Dynamic Host Control Protocol
(DHCP) by default.
If the switch is connected to the network and an appropriate bootp server is
configured, then the server assigns an IP address to the switch.
To view the assigned and in-use IP addresses, connect to the switch
console and use the show ip command.
