P0646 A/C Clutch Relay Control Circuit Low
P0647 A/C Clutch Relay Control Circuit High
Description
The ECM controls the A/C clutch relay in response to the A/C driver request and ECM control logic.

• Continuous
Enable Criteria:
• Engine running
Disable Criteria:
• None
Potential failure modes:
• P0646 – A/C compressor relay wiring open circuit or shorted to ground
• P0646 – Fuse R11
• P0647 – A/C compressor relay circuit shorted to 12V
• A/C compressor relay failure
• ECU output circuit failure
Diagnostic Mask:
• The service light will be illuminated for 30 seconds after engine start if the fault has been present for the
previous two trips.
