6 REAR PANEL OPERATION

The set top unit has one power LED and one alarm LED located on the rear. Under normal
operation the set top unit PWR LED is green and ALM LED is off. The power connection is
also located on the back of the set top unit. Rear panel indicators and controls are defined in
Table 6. A set top unit rear panel is shown in

GREEN Link status 1000 Mb/s is OK.
OFF Link status failed or no Ethernet detected.
GREEN Signal detect asserted, link status OK.
OFF Signal detect de-asserted, link status FAIL or no Ethernet detected.
GREEN Module Power OK
OFF Module Power OFF
DESCRIPTION
If module supply voltage drops below a predetermined value the module shuts down,
pressing the reset button restarts the module.
