INSTRUCTION MANUAL
1. Description
Thank you very much for purchasing our product.
Infinova's V1242 series zoom camera employs high resolution CCD and
Digital Signal Processor (DSP) chip-set for image control, which provides
clear high-resolution images and perfect function. Focal length and focusing
are adjustable via the buttons on the back panel of the camera. And custom
function settings, such as exposure and gain setting, white balance setting,
image adjusting and day/night switching can be performed via the menu.
The lens control input interface is built in the camera to be used with decoder
and matrix switcher. It is also compatible with INFINOVA, PELCO-P/D
protocols. With their compact structure and user-friendly design, the cameras
are suited for many important security/ surveillance environments.

3. Handling Precautions
Never let any water or liquid flow into this equipment.

If it is necessary to clean the lens, use a soft cloth moistened with
alcohol to wipe off any dust.

If any abnormality occurs, make sure to unplug the unit and contact
Infinova or your local dealer.
4. Installation Precautions
(1)
Do not drop the camera or subject it to strong knock.
Do not point the camera lens toward the sun or other strong light.
(2)
Do not install the camera in the places where the temperatures raises

above or fall below the acceptable range (from -10°C to 50°C), or high
humidity and/or direct rainfall, frequent vibrations, or shocks occur.
Add with auxiliary illumination device in case of low illumination to

avoid poor image quality.
Cap with the lens cover to protect the CCD sensor when the camera is

not in use.
