The loop handle can be adjusted to suit
the height and reach of the operator and
the application by changing
distance (A).
Recommendation: distance (A):
about 10 cm
Slide the handle to the required

position.
Tighten down the star knob so that
N
the handle cannot be rotated on the
shaft.

Mounting the Deflector

Position your trimmer so that the
N
mowing head (1) faces up.
The motor housing has guide slots
(arrows) to correctly locate the deflector.

Push the deflector (2) into the guide
N
slots as far as stop.
Insert the screws (3) and tighten
N
them down firmly.

Adjusting Nylon Line

Adjusting Nylon Line
Hold the rotating mowing head
N
above the ground – tap it on the
ground once – about 3 cm fresh line
is advanced.

The blade (1) on the deflector (2) trims
surplus line to the correct length – avoid
tapping the mowing head more than
once at a time.
Line feed operates only if both lines still
have a minimum length of 2.5 cm.
If the line is shorter than 2.5 cm:
Switch off the trimmer.

Move the retaining latch to ƒ and
N
remove the battery.
Turn the trimmer on its back.
N
Press down the cap on the spool as
N
far as stop.
Pull the ends of the lines out of the
N
spool.
If the spool is empty, see "Replacing
Nylon Line".
