PRIMER (M)
Pressing the rubber prime-starter squirts fuel into the
carburettor intake pipe to make it easier to start a cold
engine.

IGNITION KEY (K)
Must be fully inserted or the engine will not start. Do not turn
the key!
1. Key fully inserted – engine can start.
2. Key pulled out – engine cannot start.

STARTING HANDLE (H)
Manual cord start with rewinding

DIPSTICK (R)
For filling and checking the oil level in the engine.
The dipstick has two level marks:
FULL - maximum oil level
ADD - minimum oil level

FILLER CAP (Q)
For filling with petrol.

OIL DRAINING PLUG (P)
For draining the old engine oil when changing the oil.

START BUTTON – ELECTRICAL START (N)
Activates the electric starting motor.

ELECTRIC CABLE – ELECTRICAL START (O)
Supplies power to the starting motor. Connect the cable to a
220/230 volt earthed socket via an earthed extension lead. It
is wise to use an earth fault breaker.
4.10 GEAR LEVER (B)
Never actuate the gear lever with the engine
standing still. This will destroy the gearbox.
The machine has 6 forward gears and 2 reverse to regulate
the speed.
4.11 CLUTCH LEVER- DRIVING (D)
Engages the wheels when put into gear and the lever
is pushed towards the handle.
Situated on the left side of the handle.
4.12 CLUTCH LEVER- AUGER (A)
Connects the auger and fan when the lever is pushed
down towards the handle.
Situated on the right side of the handle.
4.13 ONE HAND CONTROL
The machine is equipped with one hand control, which
means that the clutch lever driving can lock the clutch lever
auger in activated position. Perform as follows:
1. Start the engine.
2. Press the clutch lever auger and the clutch lever driving.
3. Remove the hand from the clutch lever auger and it will
still be activated.

4.14 LEVER, CHUTE DEFLECTOR (E)
Lever at the panel for adjustment of the chute deflector (9)
1. Lever forwards – longer throwing distance.
2. Lever backwards – shorter throwing distance.
4.15 ADJUSTMENT SWITCH (24)
Changes the direction of the discharged snow.
4.16 SHOES (G)
Used to set the height of the auger housing above the ground.
4.17 CHUTE CLEARING TOOL (F)
The chute clearing tool is located in a holder on top of the au-
ger housing. The chute clearing tool must always be used
when cleaning the discharge chute and augur.
Always stop the engine before clearing the chute.
Never clear the snow discharge chute with your
hand. Risk of serious injury.
Use the chute clearing tool supplied.
4.18 HANDLE HEATING (23)
The machine is equipped with electrical handle heating. To
activate the heating, set the switch in the desired position:
The heating can be activated when the motor is running only.
4.19 DRIVE RELEASE LEVERS (22, 25)
To facilitate turning left/right, the driving on the respective
wheel can be temporary disconnected as follows:
Pull lever (25) with the left forefinger and the machine
turns left.
Pull lever (22) with the right forefinger and the machine
turns right.

5 USING THE SNOW THROWER

5.1
GENERAL
Never start the engine until all the above measures under
ASSEMBLY have been carried out.
Never use the snow thrower without first reading
and understanding the instructions and all the
warning and instruction stickers on the machine.
Always use protective goggles or a visor during
use, maintenance and service.
Original instructions for use
to the left - Chute turns to the left
to the right - Chute turns to the right.
Right - Full heating
Middle - No heating
Left - Light heating
