Rotatethe seatinto positionandsecure the seatinto place with the
previously removed shoulder screws andflangelocknuts.Becareful n ot to
crimpor damage the wireharness whileinstallingthe seat.SeeFigure 3.
Lower DeckDischargeChuteDeflector
Neveroperatethe mower deckwithout the chute deflector installedandin
the down position.
Check t he mowerdeckfor ashippingbrace thatmaybeholdingthechutedeflector
upwardforshipment. I f the brace ispresent, i t mustberemoved beforeoperating
the tractor.Holding the chutedeflectorfully upward, r emove theshippingbrace.
Lower the chutedeflector. S eeFigure 5.

4. Using the harness c lip attached to the harness, secure theexcess wireto the
fenderbysnapping the harness c lip inplaceasshownin Figure 4.

Installing the Front Bumper
Thehardware for attachingthe front bumper i sshippedinstalledinto the bumper.
I. Remove t he fourhexscrews from the bumper.
2. Position the bumperbrackets t o the insideof the tractor'sframeandsecure
it inplacewiththe four hexflangescrews. S ee Figure 6.
