TractorPreparation
Manually Moving the Tractor
1.
Engage the transmission b ypass rodto movethetractormanually without
startingit. Thetransmission b ypass rodislocated on the rearof the tractor,
onthe frame.Engage the bypass r odbypullingout. SeeFigure 1.
Install Operator's Seat(If necessary)
Toinstall the seatproceed asfollows:
NOTE: Theseatisshipped with the seatswitchandseatpanattached.

Cut a nystraps securing the seatassembly to the tractor.Remove a nypacking
material.
NOTE: Becareful n ot tocut the wiring harness c onnecting the seatandthe
seatswitch.
2.
Remove t he twoshoulder screws andflangelocknuts inthe seatpanas
showninFigure 2.

NOTE: Ifthe tractorwill not moveor doesnot movefreelywhenpushing
check if the bypass l everisfully openor the brakeisengaged.
NOTE: Thetransmission w ill NOT engage whenthe hydrostatic bypass r od
ispulledout. Return the rodto its normalpositionpriorto operatingthe
tractor.Ifthe tractorwill not movewhenpushingonthe forward/reverse
pedals, o r moves slowly,check to seeof the bypass v alveison.

NOTE: Besurethat the nylonflangebearings (if equipped)remaininplace
on the seatbracketmountingholes.Iftheycomeout duringthe removal o f
the shoulders screws andflangelocknuts makesureto replace them before
installingthe seat.
Nevertow your tractor. Towing the tractor with the rearwheels onthe
groundmay causeseveredamage to the transmissions.
Disengage t he bypass r odby pushing the rodbackinafter movingthe
tractor.SeeFigure 1.
