The REVERSE CAUTION MODE _,_ position oftheignition module a llows the
tractor t o be operated inreverse withtheblades ( PTO) engaged.
NOTE: Mowing inreverse isnotrecommended.
Use extreme cautionwhile operatingthe tractor in the REVERSE CAUTION
MODE _,_. Alwayslook down and behind beforeandwhile backing.
Donot operatethe tractor when children or othersarearound. Stopthe
tractor immediately if someoneentersthe area.

3. Press t he REVERSE PUSH BUTTON _ atthe top,right corner of the ignition
module. T heredindicator light atthe top,left corner of the ignition module
will beONwhileactivated. S eeFigure 11.
4. Once activated (indicatorlight ON), t he tractorcanbe drivenin reverse w ith
the cuttingblades(PTO) engaged.
5. Always lookdownandbehindbeforeandwhilebackingto makesureno
childrenarearound.Afterresuming forwardmotion,returnkeyto the

a. Theke_s placedineitherthe NORMAL M OWING _ _ positionor
STOP _ positionor
b. The operatorleaves the seat(electricPTO)/the p arkingbrakeisset
(manual P TO).
DrivingTheTractor
Avoidsuddenstarts, excessive speedand suddenstops.
1. Lightlypressthe brakepedalto release the parkingbrake.Movethe throttle
into the FAST _ :s position.
2. TotravelFORWARD, slowlypresstheforwarddrivepedal forwarduntil the
desiredspeed isachieved. SeeFigure 12.

Totravelin REVERSE, check that the areabehindisclearthenslowlydepress
the reverse drivepedaluntil the desired speed isachieved. S ee Figure12.
DoNOT attempt to changethe direction of travel when the tractor isin
motion. Alwaysbring the tractor to a completestop beforechangingfrom
forward to reverse or viceversa.
Donotleavethe seat of the tractor without first placing the PTO in the
DISENGAGED (OFF) p osition andengaging the parkingbrake.If leavingthe
tractor unattended,alsoturn the engine off andremovethe ignition key.
