DSC OPERATION
D D Transmitting a polling request call
Transmit a polling request call when you want to know if a
specific vessel is within communication range.
q Push [MENU] to enter the DSC menu.
w Rotate [DIAL] to select "P P o o l l l l i i n n g g R R e e q q u u e e s s t t ," push
[DIAL•ENTER].

e Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired pre-programmed indi-
vidual address
[DIAL•ENTER].
• The ID code can be set in advance. (p. 17)
• When "M M a a n n u u a a l l I I n n p p u u t t " is selected, set the 9-digit MMSI
number for the individual you wish to call by rotating [DIAL].
