1 Preface
In 2004, Sony introduced SXRD™ ultra-high resolution projectors for large-
venue and digital cinema applications. A new industry standard was set
with an extraordinary resolution of 4K (4,096 x 2,160 pixels) and
outstanding picture quality was achieved by the newly developed "SXRD
(Silicon X-tal Reflective Display)" device.
Since the release of the first models, the SRX-R110 and SRX-R105, Sony has
been continuously developing more products in this series. These include the
new SRX-S110 and SRX-S105 models, a wide range of projection lenses,
input boards, and many other convenient options. The wide choice of
products in this lineup allows users to flexibly configure a system that can
fulfill diverse application requirements.
To help simplify system installation, this guide provides useful information
on selecting the right projector, lens, and input board models, as well as
installation guidelines and much more.
We hope it will serve as a useful reference in the system installation of Sony
SRX-series projectors.
