Sony has overcome this difficulty through the use of innovative planarisation technology in the silicon backplane structure and an advanced silicon wafer-based assembly process.

The Xenon lamps in SRX-Series projectors achieve a wide colour range by dispersing a very flat and wide light spectrum.
