Changing the settings

Displaying the utilities screen

Press the [WAKE UP (UTILITY)] button for over 1 second.
The utilities screen appears on a display of this unit.

The settings for the various items are displayed here.

Changing the settings
1 Use the rotary selector to select the setting item.
2 Set the cursor to the item you want to change, then
press the rotary selector.
The cursor moves to the setting.
3 Turn the rotary selector and change the setting.
4 Press the rotary selector to enter the setting.
The cursor returns to the setting.
When the [BACK] button is pressed before entering the setting, the
change is aborted.
When closing the utilities screen, press the [WAKE UP (UTILITY)]
button.
The following settings can be changed:
! MIDI controller setting
! Master output attenuator level setting
! Booth output attenuator level setting
! Setting of the auto standby function
! Setting of talk over function
! Setting of talk over function level
! Cut lag setting of crossfader
! Output setting of microphone to booth monitor
! Peak limiter setting
! Brightness setting of jog ring
! Unit display section brightness setting
! Demo mode and screen saver function setting
! Touch display correction setting
! Monaural/stereo setting of master output
! Monaural/stereo setting of booth output
! Operation setting of microphone sound low cut filter
! Limiter setting of microphone audio added to master output
! Limiter setting of microphone audio added to booth output

Forcefully using the unit as the general
MIDI controller
The unit automatically changes operation as follows depending on
whether rekordbox is running.
! When rekordbox is running, controller operation depends on the
rekordbox functions.
! When rekordbox is not running, the unit operates as a general MIDI
controller.
Even though rekordbox is running, you can forcefully operate the unit as
a general MIDI controller.
1 Press the [WAKE UP (UTILITY)] button for over 1
second.
The utilities screen appears on a display of this unit.
2 Use the rotary selector to select and enter [MIDI
MODE].
3 Use the rotary selector to select and enter [AUTO] or
[GENERAL].
— AUTO: Operation automatically changes depending on whether
or not rekordbox is running.
— GENERAL: Regardless of whether or not rekordbox is running,
this unit forcefully operates as a general MIDI controller.
Setting the master output's attenuator
level
! The default is 0 dB.
1 Press the [WAKE UP (UTILITY)] button for over 1
second.
The utilities screen appears on a display of this unit.
2 Use the rotary selector to select and enter [MASTER
ATT.].
3 Use the rotary selector to select and enter one of
[0 dB], [-3 dB], [-6 dB], [-9 dB], and [-12 dB].
Setting the booth output attenuator
level
! The default is 0 dB.
1 Press the [WAKE UP (UTILITY)] button for over 1
second.
The utilities screen appears on a display of this unit.
2 Use the rotary selector to select and enter [BOOTH
ATT.].
3 Use the rotary selector to select and enter one of
[0 dB], [-3 dB], [-6 dB], [-9 dB], and [-12 dB].
Disabling the auto standby function
! When auto standby function is set to on, if 4 hours have passed while
the following conditions are all met, the unit automatically enters
standby status.
— Buttons and controls of the unit except the [MIC1] control and
[MIC2] control are not operated.
— That no audio signals of -18 dB or greater are input to this
unit's input terminals.
