 Displaying video and waveforms (DUAL
DISPLAY)
Video and waveforms can be displayed simultaneously by pressing the
[VIEW] button on the mixer section twice.
! To cancel the display of video and waveforms, press the [VIEW] but-
ton again.
Applying effects to video
The effect functions of rekordbox video can be roughly divided into two
types: TOUCH FX and TRANSITION FX.
The following explains how to operate the two effect function types,
TOUCH FX and TRANSITION FX.
 Using TOUCH FX
An effect can be set in the DECK VIDEO screen and MASTER VIDEO
screen. Furthermore, an effect can be operated by sliding a finger on the
display screen.
1 Press the TOUCH FX selection button.
Select an effect from the effect list screen.
2 Press [ON] of TOUCH FX to enable the effect.
Grid lines appear on the LCD screen being operated.
3 Slide a finger in the image area in the LCD screen.
The effect can be operated by sliding a finger on the screen.

4 Press the [ON] button of TOUCH FX.
The grid lines disappear from the LCD screen and the effect is disabled.
Switching the HOLD setting
The setting can be changed by pressing the [HOLD] button in the
screen.
HOLD ON: Maintains the effect even if you release your finger during
effect operation.
HOLD OFF: Cancels the effect if you release your finger during effect
operation.

 Using TRANSITION FX
The effect applied when switching Video Cross Fader can be set.
! This setting can be changed in the MASTER VIDEO screen.
An effect can be set by one of the following methods.
Selecting an effect directly
Press the TRANSITION FX selection button and select from the effect list.
Switching the effects in order and selecting
Press the [d] button to switch the selection candidates in order and
select an effect.
Switching the effects randomly and selecting
Press the button to switch the selection candidates randomly and select
an effect.
Selecting an effect registered to FAVORITE
Select any of effects 1 to 5 registered in rekordbox.
