6. ADJUSTMENT

SERVICE FACTORY MODE
Perform the operations of Service factory mode using the remote control unit provided with thePDP-501HD
(CU-PD001: AXD1432) or the remote control unit provided with the PDP-502HD (CU-PDP009: AXD1673).

In each adjustment mode, adjusted values can be changed with +/– of "SOUND VOLUME"

key on the remote control unit.
After adjustment, adjusted values can be fixed by pressing "SET" key.
Note)
When an input signal mode is changed, the adjustment mode is set to Normal operation mode
automatically.
SIGNAL (PC/VIDEO) and FORMAT (RGB/COMPONENT) can not be changed in the
service factory mode.
When the service factory mode is selected, the following settings for the input signal
currently selected will be automatically changed:
HIGH CONTRAST = "OFF"
PICTURE mode = "STD"
(The settings preset by the user will be restored when the service factory mode is
canceled.)

CU-PDP009 has two "Power" keys. In Service factory Mode, use
the "Power" key located on the upper left of the remote control unit.
Displaying version of the system micro computer.
Displaying type and format of detected input signal.
Displaying the frequency/the number of lines of
input signal.
"MUTE" key
Mode for checking operations of each device at
video section, by changing its adjustment value to
maximum and to minimum.
This mode is not used for repair service.

Mode for adjusting video section (Independent for
each signal type and format)

Mode for each setting
Drive section adjustment
Pulse/ABL adjustment
"1" key + "SET" key
Sub video section adjustment
(Common value to all input signal)
