2. On right end of cutting unit, remove the plastic plug
from the bearing housing (Figure 7).
3. Remove the 2 cap screws from the right side plate
(Figure 7).

4. Install the counter weight to the right end of the
cutting unit with the 2 screws previously removed.
5. Loosely install the 2 reel motor mounting cap screws
to the left side plate of the cutting unit (Figure 7).

Installing the Tipper Roller Kit
(Optional)
Parts needed for this procedure:

Tipper roller kit (not included)
Procedure
When cutting in higher heights of cut, it is recommended
that the Tipper Roller Kit be installed.
1. Raise the cutting units all the way up.
2. Locate the frame bracket above the center cutting
unit (Figure 8).
3. While pressing down on the front roller of the center
cutting unit, determine which holes on the tipper
bracket align with the frame bracket holes to attain
the same roller contact when the tipper bracket is
installed (Figure 8).

4. Lower the cutting units and mount the tipper bracket
to the frame with the (2) carriage bolts and nuts
supplied with the kit (Figure 8).
