The Seagate 8-bay Rackmount NAS is preinstalled with Seagate NAS OS. To manage the NAS, the

administrator can launch the web-based administration tool. Use NAS OS to:

Allocate the NAS's drives into volumes

Configure RAID

Set up the NAS's network connection

Link the Ethernet ports for performance or protection

Create shares for data distribution

Create users and groups for access rights to data

Create iSCSI targets

Set up remote access

Check the health of the NAS
