    Warnings Before using this appliance, read and follow all warnings and instructions in this manual, even if you are familiar with this product. Keep appliance out of reach of young children. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Never pull the appliance by the cord or pull to disconnect it from the outlet. Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.     Assembly Method Please Note: Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories Castor Wheels After unpacking you new vacuum cleaner, you will need to fit the castor wheels. These can be found inside the dust canister. To access, unclip the two “Motor to Canister Lock”...
  • Page 8: Fitting Flexible Hose

    Insert a castor wheels into one of the four holes located in the base and push in hard all the way ensuring they are secured in place. Repeat for the other three castor wheels. Turn the vacuum cleaner base upright and rest on the castor wheels. Refit the large dust filter and then refit the top motor housing, aligning the side latches, and then lock down.

    Tube and Hose The Tube is made in three parts. To assemble fit one length of tube into the end of the next tube until all three pieces are joined. Note: The tube section with the Hook attached must be the lower section. This is used to hook onto the side of the vacuum cleaner for storage.

    Floor Head The floor head has different attachments depending on the floor type. For Hard Floors such as timber or tiled, etc., use the attachment (1). To attach, locate the head attachment and then push to click on. Note: Ensure the brush is towards the front and the rubber squeegee towards the back.

    10 Safety Device Operation NOTE: The vacuum has an overheating protection device. It will automatically switch off power to the motor if it overheats. eg. from blocked nozzles, full dust container or unclean filters. If this happens, turn off the vacuum and unplug from power socket, clean blockage and / or filters and allow to rest for at least 60 minutes which should be enough time for the motor to cool down.

    13 Emptying the Dust Canister – Dry Use Empty the Dust Canister as frequently as possible or when the suction power is reduced. Remove the top off the Dust Canister by unclipping the two “Motor to Canister Lock” Latches (one either side) then lift the motor housing off the dust canister.

    Remove the large filter and then empty the canister by tipping out the water. Dry all components thoroughly after use. Note: The inside of the Dust Canister can be wiped clean or washed in warm soapy water and dried thoroughly. (Refer Maintenance Section).

    16 User Maintenance WARNING: The plug must be removed from the power socket before any maintenance or replacement. NOTE: To maximise the performance of your vacuum cleaner, you should clean your filters regularly. If the filters are broken or worn, replace them before continuing to use the vacuum.

    DO NOT use the Vacuum Cleaner without the filter in place. NOTE: Never use the vacuum cleaner with a wet or damp filter. (Wet Vacuuming excepted) Refit the Internal Filter to the vacuum cleaner ensuring it is positioned and seated correctly. 16.1.2 Pre Motor Filter The foam cylindrical pre-motor filter is located under the motor housing.

    16.1.3 Cleaning the Dust Canister The dust canister can be cleaned as follows: Separate the Dust Canister from the Vacuum Cleaner as previously described. Wash the Dust Canister in warm mild soapy water, rinse in clean fresh cold water and let fully dry. DO NOT place in a dishwasher.

    17 Troubleshooting Noisy operation Clean the Filters and empty the Dust Canister Clean the Filters and empty the Dust Canister. Check for blockages and unblock The Suction Relief Slide on the hose handle may be Reduced Suction Open. If so, Slide it closed. No Suction The Water Float may be blocking the air intake.
