Alternator Drive Belt Tension Adjustment
The drive belt should be periodically inspected for condition and ten-
sion.

Check belt tension by pressing in on the belt at the point shown.
Proper tension allows the belt to be pressed in 1/2 in. (12.7mm).

If adjustment is required, loosen bolts and adjust belt. Re-torque
adjustment bolts to 40 lb. ft. (55 N·m).
