IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS

The main components of the water-
craft (engine and hull) are identified
by different serial numbers. It may
sometimes become necessary to lo-
cate these numbers for warranty pur-
poses or to trace the watercraft in the
event of theft.

Hull

The Hull Identification Number (H.I.N.)
is located on platform at the rear of
watercraft.
1. Hull Identification Number
It is composed of 12 digits:
YDV 12345 L 4 95
Year of production
Month of production
Serial number
(a letter may also be used as a digit)
Manufacturer
Model year

Engine

The Engine Identification Number
(E.I.N.) is located on the upper
crankcase on PTO (Power Take-Off)
side.
