After replacing a tyre, implement the
operation described in the "TYRE
CHANGE CALIBRATION". (See page
111.)
This navigation system uses tyre turning
data and is designed to work with factory-
specified tyres for your vehicle. Installing
tyres that are larger or smaller than the
originally equipped diameter may cause
inaccurate display of the vehicle's position.
The tyre pressure also affects the diameter
of the tyres so please make sure the tyre
pressure of all four tyres are correct.

Map database information
and updates —
In order to provide you with as accurate
map information as possible, we are
always gathering information such as
on road repairs and carrying out on-site
investigations.
However, the names of
roads, streets, facilities, and their locations
frequently change.
construction on roads may be in progress.
For that reason, information on some areas
in this system might be different from the
actual location.
The map database is normally updated
once a year. Contact any authorized Toyota
dealer or repairer and most auto parts
stores or another qualified professional,
for information about the availability and
pricing of an update.
The European map database is divided
into 3 SD memory cards. To confirm the
SD memory card coverage area, see the
separately provided instruction manual for
the SD memory cards or " — Confirming
the database version and SD memory card
coverage area" on page 251.
If your vehicle, or your destination, is
outside the coverage area of the map SD
memory card that is currently installed in
the navigation system, it will not be possible
to search for a destination, route guidance
or display a detailed map.
Insert the required map SD memory card
into the navigation system.
