To reset recorded files to a maximum duration of 60 minutes, delete the 'no-file-split' file.
Making a recording
Notice!
It is recommended to use a USB memory stick for external recording. If required, an external
recorder can be connected to RCA 'Audio Out (2)' of the Control Unit.
Notice!
Make a back-up of the files on your USB memory stick before inserting it into the control unit.

Recordings cannot take place when the Control Unit is connected to a PC with the micro USB
connector.

Connect a USB memory stick to the USB connector (13) at the front of the Control Unit.
The USB recording LED indicator (10) will light up green to indicate that the stick has
been detected and recording can begin.
Press the 'start/pause' recording button (11) to start a recording session. The LED
indicator will turn red to indicate that recording is active.
To pause recording, press the 'start/pause' recording button again. The LED
indicator will flash red to indicate that recording is temporarily stopped.
To resume recording, press the 'start/pause' recording button again. The LED
indicator will turn red to indicate that recording is active.
To stop recording press the 'stop recording' button (12). The LED indicator will turn
green to indicate that the recording session is complete.
Internal recording is taking place and a USB memory stick is inserted into the USB
connector (13) at the front of the Control Unit.
External recording is taking place and the USB memory stick is removed from the Control
Unit. Only remove the USB memory stick when the green recording LED is on.
The internal memory is full when recording internally.
The USB memory stick is full when recording on USB memory stick.
Connect a tablet, laptop, or PC to the Control Unit, via the Ethernet connection, and use
the web browser interface to select which recording has to be played back. See Web
browser interface, page 38.
Remove the USB memory stick, and transfer the MP3 file(s) to a PC.
Download the MP3 file(s) from the internal memory of the Control Unit to a PC, by using
the micro USB connector at the rear of the Control Unit.
